Escape to the heart of Devon at Rose Corner

Tucked away just four miles from the stunning Jurassic Coast, Higher Bruckland Farm is a hidden gem nestled in the beautiful, unspoilt countryside of the Axe Valley. Our charming 16th century farmhouse sits peacefully beneath the hilltop village of Combpyne and the ancient earth mounds of Musbury Castle, offering the perfect blend of history, tranquillity and rural charm.

This family run haven is set across 150 acres of traditional farmland. Guests are warmly invited to explore the farm - watch the cows being milked, lend a hand feeding the calves, or collect fresh eggs from our free roaming chickens.

The surrounding area is a paradise for walkers, riders, and nature lovers. Bring your dog or even your horse and enjoy the scenic trails right from your doorstep. The renowed East Devon Way runs directly through the farm, and a stroll up to Musbury castle rewards you with breathtaking views stretching across the Axe Valley all the way to the sparkling coastline at Seaton.

Just three miles away, you'll find River Cottage, the iconic home of chef Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, while the charming seaside towns of Lyme Regis and Sidmouth are both within a 15 minute drive. For a touch of city culture, Exeter's magnificent cathedral and historic streets are just 45 minutes away.

Whether you're looking for a peaceful countryside break, and outdoor adventure, or a taste of Devon life, Rose Corner at Higher Bruckland Farm offers a warm welcome and an unforgettable rural escape.
