Higher Bruckland Farm is set four miles inland from the scenic Jurassic Coast and in the glorious countryside of the of the Axe valley. Our 16th century farmhouse nestles in the valley below Combpyne and the ancient earth mounds of Musbury Castle. It is a traditional 300 acre family farm, and livery yard; guests are welcome to wander around the farm and watch the milking, help with the calves or feed the chickens.
The area is perfect for walking or riding so why not bring your dog and or horse to enjoy the lovely countryside. The East Devon Way goes through the farm and a walk up to Musbury castle is a must with spectacular views overlooking the whole Axe valley down to the coast at Seaton.
Local towns and places of interest include: River Cottage, the HQ for well known TV chef, Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstal, is 3 miles away. The lovely seaside towns of Lyme Regis and Sidmouth are a both 15 minutes by car. Exeter with it's Ancient Cathedral is 45 minutes drive.
