Made to feel very welcome, the room was lovely and clean with lots of charm. The afternoon tea was worth every penny as an extra and we had a lovely cooked breakfast which kept us going all day!

Perfect base for those looking to have the best of both worlds, beautiful countryside and access to the lovely coast. Sandie and her family make you feel really at home and our 6 year old daughter loved staying on a farm. Breakfast was superb and we will definitely be back.

Just what expected from a farm stay. A very welcoming host. Good location with a short drive for coastal villages,local pub with 30 min walk,surrounded by piece and quiet and farm animals as far as you can see. The best cooked breakfast we have ever had!If you are looking for a farm stay then it is perfect!Little things to improve on: a shower curtain would be good, a bigger mirror and a more comfy chair to take in a wonderful view while having a cuppa.

We stayed for a couple of nights. The farm was lovely and a great place to stay for a couple of nights. Our daughter got to feed the chickens in the morning and loved getting to look around the farm. Breakfast was excellent and the family room a good size.

Me, my husband and our 3 year old boy have just come back from staying at Higher Bruckland Farm B&B for 2 nights. We used it as a base which was perfect to travel to Lyme Regis, Charmouth and West Bay. Some narrow roads to go down but we came across very few other cars. The farm is in beautiful surroundings and is a lovely B&B! We couldn’t believe how quiet and peaceful it was. Our little one loved looking at the cows and horses and really enjoyed feeding the chickens! We were made to feel very welcome by Sandie, who also makes the best breakfasts! We would love to stay here again & bring our 2 older daughters next time!

Very much enjoyed my stay here as my self and friends were attending a wedding. All rooms we had had stunning views of field’s filled with horses. The decor was old countybut very homely. The Beds were very Comfortable and my family room was very spacious with a tv and a huge bathroom. The bath tub was huge how ever unfortunately we had a problem with the tap and a new bit had to be order so was a little disappointed as was looking forward to submerging my self in the tub how ever these things happen and it couldn’t be helped,instead I annoyed a lovely warm shower that was also very spacious. The room was as clean as you can get In An old house had tv and tea and coffee facility’s and fresh milk left out every night.Sandi was lovely, very accommodating and lovely to sit and have a chat with, her young grand children helped at breakfast and it was very much a close family run farm and bnb. You get so much more than what you pay for. I hope the opportunity arises again In The future for my self along with my family or my friends to come and stay with Sandy and her family again.

Had a wonderful two nights B&B in this lovely setting.Sandy was wonderful and on hand for anything you need.Breakfast was superb with local produce.We brought out french bulldog puppy who loved it too and was very welcome.Thank you for a fabulous stay.We bought a dozen fresh eggs also as they were so lovely in breakfast.Lovely to get shown around the farm by the grandchildren.X definitely recommend x

Everything was just perfect, very clean room, great breakfast, quiet place and an amazing view. We traveled with our two labs, so we had plenty space to walk them around. Sandie she’s so lovely and make sure that we have everything to feel like home.

My friend and I had a wonderful stay at Bruckland farm, we were made so welcome by Sandy and family . It was an idyllic stay in a quiet and peaceful farm setting . Sandy provided an Amazing breakfast with plenty choice of freshly cooked good quality food. Very homely room in a stunning location. My children and I stayed here with our small dog in the large family room.The en suite bathroom was modern, lovely and spacious.The farmhouse is old fashioned, but you would expect that as it is 16th century and full of charm.Sandi the owner was extremely accommodating and very friendly.Her breakfasts were also delicious.The venue is tranquil and peaceful, unlike other noisy farms.The outside seating area could benefit from a sun umbrella as there is no shade.That is the only negative.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again one day.Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful farmhouse. Sandie made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Her cooking is also excellent! We'd wholeheartedly recommend a stay here to 'get away from it all'! Our young children are still talking about how much they enjoyed seeing the animals and going to the coast to look for fossils. 5 stars!

Wonderful hosts in a great and convenient part of east Devon coast

Had a lovely few days here with the kids, a great base for exploring the Jurassic coast and a beautiful place to walk the dog!Owners are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. This was our second visit, so would definitely recommend!

Stayed at the farm as a couple, and loved it so much we brought the children back for a weekend three weeks later!

Bruckland Farm b & b is exactly what we expected and wanted:a cosy welcoming traditional farmhouse b & b in a beautiful valley setting. Well worth a visit.Breakfast was particularly good!

Peaceful location; comfortable bed; spacious bathroom; delicious breakfast; friendly, kind and caring owner; lovely view etc etc. The only problem was that we wish we had booked to stay for longer as we were really enjoying ourselves. Thank you for looking after us so well.

We were looking to extend our sumnmer break, and found Higher Bruckland. It was located close to where we were looking and upon arrival, we realised we had found a gem.The location is fantastic, set amongst rolling countryside but 10 minutes from the sea, it has a rustic charm that comes from a 400 year old, thatched farmhouse.Sandie was a very welcoming host and we were offered a drink, which was gratefully received.The property itself is as quaint as you could imagine a property of this age to be, the interconnecting rooms were great, so that our daughter had her own room and was not disturbed by her younger brother, who shared our room.For breakfast the selection and cooking was great, local produce and fresh milk from their own herd.We would happily stay here again and would recommend Higher Bruckland to family and friends.

We had a 2 night stay which simply was not long enough. From our arrival to departure we were all made to feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble for our host. Luke who is 12 years old loved playing the board games in the lounge as well as feeding the chickens after breakfast.We will definitely be staying here again.

Peaceful, quiet, tranquil and beautiful scenery.Really enjoyed the horses, chickens and breakfast.No tv in the room, which was perfect as it made the stay peaceful.

We spent two nights at the farm, on a short walking break and enjoyed it immensely. The location is stunning and perfect for exploring on foot. Breakfasts were well cooked and plentiful and were served in the sitting room/ dining room looking out onto fields with grazing horses. It was lovely to have milk fresh from the cow with our cereal!Our room was comfortable and had a separate area for our dog. Sandie made us feel very welcome and t was an attentive host , offering us tea on arrival and recommending places to eat in the evening.

We had a very enjoyable stay. Lovely setting and the sun shone the whole weekend. Room comfortable with good facilities. Breakfast good with farm fresh eggs and their own milk. The walk up the hill to musbury castle was a short sharp climb but the view was worth it. Close to seetom and Lyme Regis and river cottage. Would stay again if in the area. Sandinista was a great hostess.

Great, tranquil location -beautiful surroundings (as long as you don't mind the windy, narrow roads)Exactly how I remember farm stays from my youth... although more used to more modern surroundings, this fitted the bill perfectly for me and my two children. Highly recommended!!

My son Sam and I stayed for three relaxing and peaceful nights at this historic working farm. Lots of animals to see, and wonderful views of rural Devon. Sandie cooks you an excellent English breakfast - milk and eggs from their own cows and chickens. Such a refreshing change from the regular B&Bs. Thanks for making our holiday so memorable!

Very accommodating and quiet. Watch out for the VERY narrow lanes and horses that may take a while to turn around. GO SLOWLY.
